About the Stars |
|
The Stars are coming off a 4-3 loss to
Vancouver on Saturday. It was their second straight loss
and fifth in the last six games. The Stars fell behind
3-0, rallied to tie and then lost on a goal early in the
third period. "We have to get going in the right
direction," Stars center Brad Richards said. "There are
some things we need to clean up. We have to keep
concentrating how little things can change the way a
game goes. We have to grab momentum and keep it." The
Stars in a stretch where they play just two games in 11
days.
Injuries: D Philippe Boucher
(shoulder) and D Sergei Zubov (groin/foot)
are
out. C/LW Steve Ott (suspension) is out |

Ducks |
| The Ducks ran their home
winning streak to nine games with a 5-2 win over St.
Louis. It was the Ducks' first game without defenseman
Chris Pronger, who is serving an eight-game suspension.
"We’ve got our hands full," said defenseman Mathieu
Schneider, who had a goal and two assists in the game.
“Obviously we’re shorthanded without Prongs, but we’ve
got to find ways to get it done." Anaheim is 14-3-1 in
its last 18 games. Wednesday's game kicks of a
three-game road trip for the Ducks, who are 16-17-4 on
the road this season.
Injuries: F Ryan Carter (wrist) and F Corey Perry
(tendon) are out. D Chris Pronger (suspension) is out. |
