Iowa loses to Toronto 2-1

Toronto at Iowa Stars

Newly acquired defenseman Dan Jancevski was in the lineup Tuesday as the Iowa Stars lost to the Toronto Marlies 2-1 at Wells Fargo Arena. Jancevski had no points, four penalty minutes and a minus-two rating in the game.

Defenseman Nolan Baumgartner scored the lone goal for Iowa. Tobias Stephan stopped 26 of 28 shots in taking the loss in goal.

Jancevski was acquired earlier in the day by Dallas from Tampa Bay for right wing Junior Lessard. Forward Paul Szczechura was also traded to Tampa's AHL affiliate in Norfolk on Tuesday for future considerations.
