Iowa wraps up homestand with loss

Peoria at Iowa Stars

The Iowa Stars wrapped up their seven-game homestand with a 2-4-0-1 record after falling 3-1 to Peoria Friday night at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.

Chris Conner scored the lone goal for the Stars, who are now 20-23-2-2 on the season. Tobias Stephan got the start in goal and stopped 21 of 24 shots.

Iowa plays in Rockford Saturday night before the AHL's All-Star break. Iowa opens another four-game homestand next Friday.
