Iowa Stars at Chicago

While the Dallas Stars were beating the Chicago Blackhawks at the United Center Wednesday night, the Iowa Stars were falling to the Chicago Wolves at Allstate Arena. The final score was 6-4.

Marius Holtet, Konstantin Pushkarev, Chris Conner and Vojtech Polak scored goals for the Stars, who rallied to tie the game at 2-2 after giving up the first goals. But Chicago scored four straight to take a 6-2 lead. Tobias Stephan got the start in goal, but was pulled 8:08 into the third period after giving up his sixth goal on 34 shots. Steve Silverthorn took over and stopped all four shots he faced.

Iowa now returns to Des Moines, where it will kick off a seven-game homestand starting this weekend.
