Chicago at Iowa Stars

The Iowa Stars returned home Saturday night after a four-game road trip and got blown out of their own building.

The Chicago Wolves scored ten goals on 17 shots, beating Iowa 10-2 at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. The ten goals was the most ever allowed by the Iowa franchise.

Philippe Sauve got the start and was pulled early in the second after allowing four goals on nine shots. Tobias Stephan took over and allowed six goals on eight shots.

B. J. Crombeen and Nolan Baumgartner were the goal scorers for Iowa, which dropped to 14-14-1 on the season. They are currently in last place (8th) in the West Division based on points percentage.
