Iowa falls in shootout

Iowa Stars at Quad City

The Iowa Stars lost 2-1 in a shootout to the Quad City Flames Wednesday night. Richard Clune and B.J. Crombeen assisted on an Ethan Graham goal.

Tobias Stephan stopped 38 of 39 shots in regulation and overtime. Iowa missed on all five of its chances in the shootout and Stephan allowed one goal on five shots.

The loss was the fifth in the last seven games (2-4-0-1) for Iowa, which is 14-14-1-1 on the season
