Iowa tops Houston 1-0

Iowa Stars at Houston
The Iowa Stars opened a two-game set in Houston with a 1-0 over the Aeros Friday night.

Goalie Steve Silverthorn stopped 19 shots and James Neal assisted on a goal by Mark Bomersback in the second period for the game's lone goal. Neal has four points (two goals, two assists) in the last three games.

The two teams play again Sunday.
