The Dallas Stars signed two prospects
last week who also signed amateur tryout contracts with Iowa.
Dallas signed forward Tyler Shelast of

Matt Climie of Bemidji State University to a one-year contract.
Shelast, 23, received a $175,000 that
will be paid out at $87,500 each year of the contract. His NHL level
salary will be $787,500 each season and his minor league salary will be
$65,000 each season. Shelast also has the potential to earn bonus money
for making the NHL All-Rookie Team and Individual League "B" Bonus

Climie, 25, received a $150,000 signing
bonus. He will be paid $650,000 at the NHL level and his minor league
