Neal scores twice in 5-3 Iowa win

Peoria at Iowa

James Neal scored two goals and Perttu Lindgren and Tom Wandell also scored as the Iowa Stars beat Peoria 5-3 in Des Moines Friday night.

Neal, who has four goals over the last two games, now has 18 on the season for Iowa. Ray Sawada and Konstantin Pushkarev both had a pair of assists.

Tobias Stephan got the start in goal and stopped 27 of 30 shots on the night. Iowa improved to 34-34-4-3 on the season and has five games remaining in the season.
