Prospects update

Here's an update on
Dallas Stars prospects playing junior hockey in Canada and the
U.S., and those playing in college and Europe.
Prospect Notes: Korostin to North America
-
Left wing Sergei Korostin, the Stars
third round pick (64th overall) in 2007, has moved from Russian to
North America and is now playing for the Texas Tornado of the North
American Hockey League. He made his NAHL debut this past week,
registering no points in his first game.

For the second time this season left
wing Jamie Benn was named the WHL's Player of the Week. Benn had
nine points (three goals, six assists) and a plus-five rating in
three games. He was also named the Canadian Hockey League's Player of
the Week for his efforts.

Center Austin Smith was selected to
play in the BCHL All-Star Game.
