Prospects statistical
update

Here's a statistical update on
Dallas Stars prospects playing junior hockey in Canada and the
U.S., and those playing in college and Europe.
Dallas native Austin Smith, who is
playing for Penticton of the British Columbia Hockey League, has seven
goals and seven assists in 11 games for far this season. His 14
points are tied for 20th in the league and his seven goals have him tied
for 11th.
Some other prospect notes from the first
few weeks of the season:

Left wing Jamie Benn has switched
teams and leagues. He has moved from the BCHL to Kelowna of the
Western Hockey League. He picked up a goal in his third game with
Kelowna.

Stars prospect Michael Neal is
probably out for the season due to a knee injury.

The college hockey season started
this Sunday with a couple of games and gets into full swing later
this coming week.
