Prospects update

Here's an update on
Dallas Stars prospects playing junior hockey in Canada and the
U.S., and those playing in college and Europe.
Prospect Notes
-
Left wing Jamie Benn (Kelowna/WHL) is
currently out with a sprained ankle. Last report had him missing one
to three weeks with the injury.

Forward Sergei Korostin now has four
goals, five assists and a plus-nine rating since joining the Texas
Tornado of the NAHL. After going scoreless in his first game,
Korostin has had points in each of the next five games, including a
stretch where he scored goals in four straight. "I just think
(Korostin) is starting to get comfortable, he’s getting his legs
underneath him, he’s playing and he’s excited, and you could just
see that he’s kicked it to another notch, and the nice thing is,
he’s dragging four or five other guys along with him," Tornado coach
Dwight Mullins said on the team's official web site.
