| Sacchetti had his ups
and downs as he made the transition from high school hockey to
the United States Hockey League. He seemed to adjust as the
season moved along, and ended up with ten goals and 14 assists
in 56 games for the Omaha Lancers, the best team in the league
and eventual champions. Sacchetti had one goal and two assists
in 14 games.
He will play at the
University of Minnesota starting this fall. Was ranked 8th among
Stars prospects in The Hockey News' Future Watch 2008.

Korostin |

| Korostin started the
season in Russia, where he played a couple of games in the
Russian Super League. In January he made the jump to North
America and began play for the Texas Tornado of the NAHL.
Despite coming to a new country, learning a new language and
culture, Korostin played very well for the Tornado, registering
18 points (eight goals, ten assists) in 19 games. He had
two goals in three playoff games.
Korostin signed an entry level contract with
the Stars back in March. He was ranked 7th among Stars prospect
in The Hockey News' Future Watch 2008.

| Sceviour started the
season with Portland of the WHL and both the team and Sceviour
got off to a sluggish start. Things changed for Sceviour when he
was traded to Lethbridge, a much better team than lowly
Portland. After scoring just two goals in 17 games with
Portland, Sceviour where he scored 32 goals in 51 games and had
an impressive plus-28 rating. Sceviour had three goals and ten
assists in 19 playoff games for Lethbridge, which made it to the
WHL finals.

| Smith, the Dallas
native, had a very good season as he jumped from prep hockey to
British Columbia Junior Hockey League. He finished second on the
team with 67 points (32 goals, 35 assists) and then the led the
team, which won the league championship, in playoff scoring with
22 points (11 goals, 11 assists) in 15 games.
Smith will begin his college career at Colgate
in the fall.

| Early in the season
Benn decided to leave his BCHL team and give up a future
scholarship to Alaska-Fairbanks to accelerate his path to pro
hockey by joining the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL. The jump to
the WHL didn't faze Benn, who scored four goals in his first six
games and ended up with 33 in 51 games. He would have scored
more, but he missed about six weeks with an ankle injury. Benn
had three goals and eight assists in seven playoff games.
He was ranked 3rd among Stars prospect in The
Hockey News' Future Watch 2008.

| Roman had a solid
season in the regular season, posting 15 goals and 46 assists in
72 games for the Spokane Chiefs (WHL). He really took off in the
playoffs, where he tied for the team lead with 20 points (nine
goals, eleven assists) as the Chiefs won the WHL championship
and advanced to the Memorial Cup. Roman chipped in two assists
in four games, including a key helper in the championship game,
as Spokane won the Memorial Cup.

| Neal missed all of
the regular season due to a knee injury. He did return for the
playoffs, registering no points in seven games for Belleville
(OHL) as the Bulls made it to the championship series. Neal also
played in two Memorial Cup games for Belleville and picked up no
points.
