| Plagued by ankle injuries Polak played only 35 games
with Iowa of the AHL, picking up six goals and ten assists. He
eventually headed back to Czech Republic, where he finished the season
with Karlovy Vary of the Extraliga. |

| In 2006-07 scored 17 goals and had 28 assists in 67 games with Iowa of the AHL.
Picked up one goal in seven Calder Cup playoff games. Had no points in
two games with Dallas. ... In 2005-06 he Had 12 goals, 22 assists and a minus-five rating in 60 games for
Iowa of the AHL. Had one assist in three AHL playoff games for Iowa. Had
no points and a minus-one rating in three games with Dallas. ... Polak had a rough 2004-05 season in Czech Republic. He got bounced around
from team to team and failed to make the country's World Junior

time between the Karlovy and Dukla teams. He also got bounced down to
the Czech 1. liga for a time in 2004-05 and to Junior Hockey.... Polak had one goal and eight assists in 45 games for Karlovy in the
Czech Elite League in 2003-04.... He had one goal in six games for the
Czechs at the 2004 World Junior Championships.... Was ranked 12th among European skaters by Central Scouting prior to
