| In 2006-07 Wandell played for Assat of Finland's SM-Liiga in 2006-07, picking
up six goals and six assists in 50 games. He was minus-11 and had 20
penalty minutes. He had three assists and won 47 of 63 faceoffs for
Sweden at the 2006 U20 4 Nations Tournament in Sweden. ... Scored a pair of goals in the scrimmage during the Stars development
camp in July 2006.... In 2005-06 Wandell had 19 goals, 20 assists and a plus-21 rating in 41 games with
Sodertalje in Swedish junior hockey. Had one goal in four
playoff games. Had no points in six games in the Swedish Elite League.
