Morrow out six months with torn ACL

There was more bad news for the Dallas Stars Friday and this time it was on the injury front. Captain Brenden Morrow is expected to miss six months with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. The Stars acquired Sydor from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for defenseman Philippe Boucher. Stars top Coyotes 3-2With Loui Eriksson and Mike Ribeiro providing the offense and Marty Turco delivering the big saves late in the game, the Dallas Stars got back in the win column Saturday night with a 3-2 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes.
