Monday practice update

The Stars seemed upbeat and positive today at practice in Frisco.  They are trying to put the frustration of losing behind them and focus on playing desperate hockey down the stretch. They know they've got a big task ahead of them over the final ten games as they try to make it into the playoffs. Here's a brief audio clip of Steve Ott talking about the team's mindset:

Injury update:

• Nothing new on Brad Richards. He was seeing a specialist today.
• Brian Sutherby did not practice and is day-to-day.
• Steve Begin did practice and should be available for Tuesday's game.
• Joel Lundqvist did not practice Monday due to illness.
• Brenden Morrow went for a light skate on his own before practice. That was his first time since the injury and surgery. He still has a long ways to go though.
• Toby Petersen is still in the protective boot. He's getting x-rays tomorrow.
