Zubov to KHL: TSN report

Here’s the latest update on Sergei Zubov to KHL reports. Sport Express is now reporting that Zubov has agreed to terms on a two-year contract with SKA St. Petersburg.

The team’s GM told Soviet Sport that a deal is close and that he expects Zubov to sign in the next few days and join the team by August 12.

Here’s an update on the Sergei Zubov to the KHL reports. Craig Custance of the Sporting News is reporting via Twitter that Zubov’s agent is confirming that Zubov is close to signing with the Russian league.

It’s been pretty quiet on the Sergei Zubov front here in North America. Not much news at all and not a lot of rumors. It’s a different story in Russia, where the rumor mill is heating up. A report today on Sport Express’ online version has Zubov linked to SKA St. Petersburg of the KHL, saying Zubov is apparently in talks with the club and could be close to signing. We’ll see what and if anything comes of it. Zubov had told a Russian newspaper earlier this month that the KHL would be an option.
