Friday practice update

A couple notes from Friday’s practice:

Karlis Skrastins is doubtful for tomorrow after getting 14 stitches to repair a deep cut on his index finger. He got hurt in last night’s game when he made a diving poke check and Ducks forward Evgeny Artyukhin’s skate sliced his finger. No damage to the bone or any tendons or anything like that. He should be fine with a few days off.

That means Jeff Woywitka will slide in on defense.

Marc Crawford said he plans on keeping Steve Ott on the Brad Richards’ line and James Neal with Mike Modano. He might make some lineup changes, but he’ll decide tomorrow. I am guessing he might want to get Brian Sutherby and/or Krys Barch in the game.

Crawford said Marty Turco will get the start in goal on Saturday.
