Here are some notes from Monday’s practice in Frisco.

On the injury front, Mike Modano took part in some of the practice today and will practice tomorrow. Modano said there is still no timetable on when he might be able to return.

Jere Lehtinen could practice tomorrow. Stars coach Marc Crawford isn’t putting a timetable on either Modano or Lehtinen, but said the fact the both players are moving in the right direction.

Matt Niskanen, who missed the last two games with a head injury, practiced today and Crawford listed him as probable for Wednesday.

Brad Richards did not practice today. He rested the groin that has been bothering him.

After working a few drills, the Stars held a three-on-three tournament during today’s practice. Players were split up country, region or some other reason. Team Sweden, which consisted of Loui Eriksson, Nicklas Grossman and Fabian Brunnstrom won the tournament, knocking off Team Ontario (Steve Ott, Trevor Daley and Krys Barch) in the final.

Monday’s practice lines:

Morrow-Ribeiro-Benn
Neal-Modano-Eriksson
Ott-Wandell-Petersen
Barch-Sutherby-Brunnstrom
