The Stars didn’t practice today, but here are a couple of notes from a conversation with Stars coach Marc Crawford this afternoon.

Marty Turco will get the start in goal tomorrow.

Brian Sutherby is out for tomorrow with a shoulder injury. Crawford said they may have more info on the injury tomorrow.

As noted earlier, Warren Peters has been called up because the Stars had only eleven forwards with Sutherby unable to go.

I’ve been thinking this for quite a while, but needed a place to write it, I guess this’ll do…

Brendan Morrow has NOT been playing like the “Captain” he used to play as for quite some time… I think its time for a change. The BEST player for a “Captain” on this team is James Neal without a doubt. The kid plays his heart out every shift of every game, he scores goals, he plays with emotion, and isnt afraid to hit the crap out of people. He leads this team, not Morrow. Morrow is a downer these days, trade him, please! You could argue Steve Ott leading the team emotionally as well, but the Real Deal is younger, and has more all around talent. Otter could be an Alternate with Robidas or a new #1 Defenseman?
