Saturday practice update

A couple of items from today's practice. Dan Jancevski was assigned to Hamilton and Garrett Stafford was sent to Grand Rapids. That leaves the Stars with nine defensemen on the roster. The top seven - excluding Sergei Zubov (injured) and prospect Ivan Vishnevskiy - looks like this right now: Stephane Robidas, Philippe Boucher, Trevor Daley, Nicklas Grossman, Matt Niskanen, Doug Janik and Mark Fistric.

No Jere Lehtinen today at practice. He is still day-to-day. Sean Avery didn't practice because he was sick and Vishnevskiy was out sick too.Boucher will be evaluated tomorrow to see if he can play against the Oilers.

Goalie Brent Krahn took the ice after the practice was over and worked with Andy Moog and Tobias Stephan. Krahn, who has been rehabbing a knee injury, is expected to be eventually sent to Idaho of the ECHL.
