Full practice for the Stars today in front of a decent crowd at the Dr. Pepper StarCenter in Frisco.

News of the day: Chris Conner has been assigned to Peoria. This was done to make room for Sean Avery, who was put back on the roster and then immediately put on waivers. We’ll know Monday if Avery has cleared or if he will be going to the AHL. It could be known sometime tomorrow where in the minors he could be going, but if I were a betting man I would bet on Hartford.

Fabian Brunnstrom did practice Saturday but left about halfway through. He tweaked his ankle on the tail end of James Neal’s second goal late in last night’s game. He is questionable for tomorrow. Mark Parrish practiced some on the right wing with Neal and Mike Modano Saturday. Other than that, the lines stayed the same.

Landon Wilson is still not ready but did practice. He dressed as a defenseman and was paired with Doug Janik to give the Stars four sets of defensemen for the various drills.
