Texas Stars note: Ondrej Roman

I checked on the status of forward Ondrej Roman, who was signed to a entry-level contract by the Dallas Stars last month and was supposed to report to the Texas Stars. Well, there were complications with his contract coming out of the Czech League that have kept him from getting into the AHL and on the Texas roster by the Clear Day roster deadline. He's been in Austin recently and right now he is up in Dallas doing some work with the Stars. He'll be here until early next week. Dallas is trying to find a place for him to play out this season, but time will tell on that. Bottom line: whether he plays the remainder of this year is up in the air, but he will be in Austin next season. Commenting is not available in this weblog entry.
