Stars put Alex Auld on waivers

The Stars have put Alex Auld on waivers, which means it looks like Marty Turco may be sticking around. We’ll see what happens. A great offer could still come along for Turco, but I’d be surprised and I think he’s a Star the rest of the way.

I honestly think Turco staying is the best way to go. He gives him the best shot to make the playoffs. He can carry the load down the stretch and they can work Kari Lehtonen into the mix to spell Turco when needed.

As for Auld, there’s the possibility some could pick him up off waivers or re-entry waivers at half price. If not, he’ll end up in Cedar Park.
