The Calder Cup Finals are now a best-of-three. The Texas Stars got caught with too many men on the ice late in Game 4 and the Hershey Bears made them pay. Bears defenseman John Carlson's power play goal with 2:08 remaining snapped a 2-2 tie and the Hershey went on to beat the Stars 4-2 at Cedar Park Center, tying the series at 2-2.

A record crowd of 7,014 was on hand at Cedar Park Center Monday night for Game 3 of the Calder Cup Finals, and for the first half of the game they had plenty to celebrate. Their Texas Stars, already up 2-0 in the series, had a 3-1 lead in the game. But the Hershey Bears spoiled the party, rattling off five unanswered goals to win 6-3 and cut Texas' lead in the series to 2-1.

The Hershey Bears seemed invincible at home. That changed Thursday night. Behind some stingy defense, big saves from Matt Climie and goals from Greg Rallo and Scott McCulloch the Texas Stars knocked off the Bears 2-1 to take a 1-0 series lead in the Calder Cup Finals.
