What Scouts Say

“The most impressive things about Louis LeBlanc are his hands and his evasiveness with the puck; that separates him from other players on the ice right away. He needs to fill out a little bit yet, but he has the frame to be a big center. The other part of LeBlanc’s game that I noticed was his vision; his ability to see and dissect a play and to make the right play. He’s also very competitive and he gets involved in the play.”
- Jack Barzee, NHL Central Scouting

"Plays with a fiery edge to his game, with his emotions just barely under control enough be a major pain in the ass to his opponents, while not undermining his own team's discipline. ... Passionate and has a world of skill. ... Has outstanding puck skills and playmaking ability. Rips a fine assortment of shots with accuracy and will from any angle."
- Red Line Report 2009 Draft Guide

"He would go through the wall for a teammate. Leblanc is a skilled forward with good hands – displays a nose for
the net. A good skater with good size gets in the forecheck well and looks to finish hits. Has a good shot
and quick release. Will adapt and play any role given by coach."
