What Scouts Say

β€œHe's big, lanky and skilled. He uses his size to accentuate his puck skills. Size, reach, stick handling ability, those long kinds of stick movements that Mario (Lemieux) used to make, like (Vincent) Lecavalier makes.”
- E.J. McGuire, Director of NHL Central Scouting

"Slick forward with very good puck skills. Able to slide off checks and is dangerous with the puck in the offensive zone."
- International Scouting Services 2009 NHL Draft Guide

"Kadri brings a lot of flash-'n-dash to the rink with top end speed, quick hands, and slick, creative moves. But he does play too much of a one-on-one game and doesn't get his linemates involved enough. Despite having a slightly built frame, he tends to be an abrasive agitator and is at his best on those nights when he brings passion to the rink β€” which he only does sporadically."
- Red Line Report's Kyle Woodlief, writing for USA Today
