Prospect News & Notes: Traverse City
Here are some details on the Traverse City Prospects Tournament, which will take place next month and feature some of the Stars' top prospects including Fabian Brunnstrom, James Neal, Ray Sawada and Ivan Vishnevskiy.
The tournament will be held September 13-17 at the Center Ice Arena in Traverse City, Michigan and will feature prospects from the Stars, Columbus, Minnesota, St. Louis, Detroit, Atlanta, New York Rangers and Tampa Bay.
The Stars have games scheduled on September 13 (vs. St. Louis), September 14 (vs. Columbus) and September 16 (vs. Minnesota). They will also play on September 17 against a team to be determined by the final standings in round-robin play.
The Stars prospects who are scheduled to play in the tournament are:
Forwards: Jamie Benn, Fabian Brunnstrom, Aaron Gagnon, Luke Gazdic, Sergei Korostin, Perttu Lindgren, James Neal, Michael Neal, Ondrej Roman, Ray Sawada, Colton Sceviour, Tyler Shelast, Matt Tassone
Defensemen: Ivan Vishnevskiy, Trevor Ludwig
Goaltenders: Tyler Beskorowany, Matt Climie
