Colorado Avalanche at Dallas Stars
Friday January 29
7:30 pm
TV: FSN | Radio: KTCK 1310-AM

About the Stars
The Stars (23-19-11) won for the 12 time in their last 16 home games (12-2-2), rallying from a 3-1 deficit to beat Calgary 4-3 in a shootout Wednesday.

I really give our team credit because down 3-1, we very easily could have folded. But we had everybody battling," said Stars head coach Marc Crawford.

Alex Auld, who has won his last five home starts and is 5-0-1 at American Airlines Center this season, is expected to get the start on Friday.

Injuries: RW Jere Lehtinen (neck) is questionable. C Tom Wandell (knee) and Mike Ribeiro (throat) are out.

About the Avalanche
The Avalanche (30-16-6) had a six-game winning streak snapped with a 1-0 loss to the Minnesota Wild at Pepsi Center Thursday night. Colorado lost five of six games against the Wild this season.

"They are probably the hardest team in the league to play against because all they do is just play defense," said Colorado center Matt Duchene. "It seems like they don't even try to go on offense at all. They just try to force us to make mistakes and that's when they score."

Minnesota's Martin Havlat scored with 4:49 left in the game, snapping Colorado goalie Craig Anderson's shutout streak at 126 minutes, 24 seconds.

Injuries: D Adam Foote (ankle), RW Milan Hejduk (knee), D Ruslan Salei (back), RW Marek Svatos (chest), C Matt Hendricks (ankle) and RW David Jones (knee) are out.
