About the Stars

The Stars came out of the break with a 5-1 loss to the Los Angeles Kings at American Airlines Center Tuesday night. The loss snapped a two-game winning streak and kept the Stars from getting their first three-game winning streak of the season.

"We could have done everything much better," said center Mike Ribeiro. We were just flat."

The loss was just the third for the Stars in their last 13 home games (10-3-0).

Stars coach Marc Crawford indicated he is leaning towards starting Marty Turco in goal.

Injuries: D Mark Fistric (knee) is questionable. Brian Sutherby (shoulder) is out.

About the Blues

The Blues came out of the break with a 5-2 win at Phoenix Tuesday night. It pushed the Blues' winning streak to four games.

"This was one of our more complete games of the season," said forward David Backes. "We had a few moments where we faltered a bit, but we kept chipping pucks in and kept putting pressure on them. We got balanced scoring, five different guys."

The Blues are in 12th place in the West, but still within three points of eighth place heading into Wednesday night's games.

Injuries: LW Keith Tkachuk (finger) and RW Cam Janssen (suspension) are out.
