About the Stars |

The Stars are coming off an 0-3-0 road
trip that concluded with a 5-2 loss in San Jose Saturday
afternoon. It was the Stars' fifth loss in the last
seven games.
"It's do or we're done now for us," Stars
forward Steve Ott said. "It's tough, but we have a lot
of pride. It's been a tough year, a roller coaster for
us, injury-wise, but we are not going to give up."
The Stars are in 12th place, three points
out of the eighth and final playoff spot.
Stars center Brad Richards, returning
after missing 15 games with a broken right wrist, broken
his left hand in the game.
Injuries: LW Joel Lundqvist
(illness) is questionable. C Brian Sutherby (lower
body), C Brad Richards (hand), C Toby Petersen (foot), LW Brenden
Morrow (knee) and D Sergei Zubov (hip) are out. |

The Canucks opened a six-game road trip
with a 5-1 loss at Phoenix Saturday. It snapped a
four-game winning streak for Vancouver.
"This was a missed opportunity,” Canucks
coach Alain Vigneault said. “Our game wasn’t there, and
execution was not where it needed to be.”
The Canucks are 8-2-1 in their last 11
games.
Injuries: C
Rick Rypien (sports hernia) is out.
