About the Stars
The Stars (6-3-6), are coming off a 3-2 overtime loss to Calgary on Wednesday that ran their winless streak to three games (0-1-2). The Stars outshot the Flames 40-23 and had a 2-1 lead, but gave up a goal with 49 seconds left in regulation.

"We did what we wanted to do against Calgary; we got the puck behind the defense, we really exposed the defense," Stars head coach Marc Crawford said. "I thought they were on their heels the better part of the night. We generated a number of power-play opportunities. I thought we were the better club in terms of chances generated by a long shot."

The Stars are now 2-2-3 on home ice this season and 1-6 in games that have gone beyond regulation.

Marty Turco will start in goal.

Injuries:  LW James Neal (groin) is out.
