Stars claim RW Segal off waivers

The Dallas Stars added another player
Thursday, claiming right wing Brandon Segal off waivers from the Los
Angeles Kings.
The 26-year-old had one goal and one
assist in 25 games with the Kings this season. He has six goals and
eight assists in 21 games with the AHL's Manchester Monarchs this season
as well.
Segal, a fourth round pick of Nashville
in 2002, is seen as a fourth line energy player in the NHL.
Lehtinen injured
Stars right wing Jere Lehtinen was
injured in Thursday's game against Calgary, suffering a lower body
injury. Lehtinen left the game midway through the second period after
blocking a shot and did not return.
