About the Stars

The Stars (27-21-12) are coming off a 3-1 win in Calgary Thursday night. The win gives the Stars a 1-0-1 record on their current road trip and an 8-4-1 record in their last 13 games overall.

"We've had a lot of games on the road where we've probably played better than we did tonight, and didn't get anything to show for it," coach Marc Crawford said. "But we stuck around tonight. Marty [Turco] allowed us to stick around."

Turco, who is expected to start Saturday, made 33 saves in Thursday's game, and has stopped 168 of 175 shots over his last five games for a .960 save percentage.

Injuries: RW Jere Lehtinen (leg), LW Steve Ott (appendix), D Mark Fistric (knee), LW Brian Sutherby (shoulder) and C Tom Wandell (ACL) are out.

About the Coyotes

The Coyotes are coming off a 2-1 loss at Colorado Friday night. It was the fourth time in the last six games that Phoenix has scored one goal or fewer.

“We’re just not getting the plays we need made, and it has to be better," said Phoenix coach Dave Tippett.

The Coyotes are 8-2-0 in their last ten games.

Saturday's game will be the fourth in six nights for Phoenix.

Injuries: RW Scottie Upshall (ACL), D Kurt Sauer (upper body) and C Joel Perrault (upper body) are out.
