"The way the team's banded together to
play a certain way is most important," Stars goalie
Marty Turco said. "We're going to need to continue to do
this."
The win was the third straight on the
road for the Stars and gave them a 6-1-1 record overall
in their last eight games.
Injuries: D Darryl Sydor (ankle) is
probable. RW Mark Parrish (flu) is available. LW Fabian
Brunnstrom (flu) is doubtful. RW

|
The Flames had a three-game winning
streak snapped with a 4-3 loss in to the Avalanche in
Denver Monday night. The Flames gave up 42 shots on

defensively," said Flames coach Mike Keenan. "We were
playing against a desperate team that had just lost four
games in a row at home and came out with a lot of
energy."
The loss dropped Calgary to 11-10-1 on
the road this season.

foot), RW Brandon Prust (jaw) and D Rhett Warrener
(shoulder) are out. |
