About the Stars

The Stars (29-24-12) rallied from a 2-0 deficit for a 4-3 shootout win in Washington Monday that snapped a three-game losing streak. Stars goalie Marty Turco stopped a career-high 49 shots in regulation and overtime and another four of five in the shootout.

"It's huge. We needed a great goaltending performance tonight and Marty was absolutely terrific," said Stars coach Marc Crawford. "We loved the fact that he fought and fought and fought and got a payoff, even in the shootout."

Turco will start again Wednesday night.

Injuries: D Nicklas Grossman (back) is questionable.  F Brian Sutherby (shoulder) and Tom Wandell (knee) are out.
