About the Stars |

The Stars come out of the break in 11th
place in the Western Conference, and four points out of
the eighth and final playoff spot. They are 5-3-2 in
their last ten games overall and 7-1-1 in their last
nine home games. In their final game before the break
they won 4-1 at Florida.
Injuries: RW Fabian Brunnstrom (ankle), RW
Landon Wilson (ribs), D Sergei Zubov (hip) and LW Brenden
Morrow (knee) are out. |

The Thrashers head into the stretch drive
in 14th place in the Eastern Conference and 12 points
out of the eighth and final playoff spot. They've won
four of their last seven games and had a three-game
winning streak snapped when they lost 5-3 at
Philadelphia in their final game before the break.
Injuries: C Jim Slater (shoulder)
is questionable. D Garnet
