Texas Stars beat Houston 4-3

Colton Sceviour's goal with 5:41 remaining lifted the Texas Stars to a 4-3 win over the Houston Aeros at Cedar Park Center Saturday night.

The win was fourth in the last five games for the Stars, who also got goals from Ray Sawada, Warren Peters and Travis Morin. Sawada picked up a Gordie Howe hat trick in the game. Matt Climie got the win in goal, stopping 25 of 28 shots.

After Houston rallied from a 3-1 deficit to tie the game in the third period, Sceviour scored off a slap shot from the high slot to win the game for the Texas.

The Stars play next on Wednesday, when they host Peoria.
