| In his first pro season, Bachman had the best goals against average in the ECHL at 2.28. He had a 22-7-4 record, .910 save percentage and four shutouts, finishing tied for second in save percentage, sixth in wins and tied for first in shutouts. He was named All ECHL Second Team. He played eight games for Texas of the AHL, posting a 4-4-0 record with a 2.15 goals against average, .932 save percentage and one shutout. | In 2008-09, played 35 games in his sophomore season at Colorado College, posting a 14-11-10 record, a .914 save percentage, a 2.63 goals-against-average and three shutouts. Signed three-year entry-level contract March 27, 2009 ... In 2007-08 Bachman posted a 25-9-1 record with a 1.85 goals against average, a .931 save percentage and four shutouts in his freshman season with Colorado College. Was named the WCHA's Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year, becoming only the second player in league history to win the two awards in the same season. Curtis Joseph (1988-89) was the other.
